Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiele-Jael Stanton.

Hi Kiele-Jael, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?

I’ll never forget this one Spring day in 2015. It was a Sunday in NYC, and unlike many other 30-something-year-old women who were enjoying mimosas at brunch and window shopping in the Lower East Side or Brooklyn, I was sitting in a lecture about food and healing clad in a white culinary uniform. I was almost finished with my year-long training in health-supportive culinary arts and pondering on my future. For the past year, every Sunday and Monday evening had been dedicated to my training. I was already in a successful 11-year career where I was respected, had a high position in my company, managed a team, and got to be creative 24/7. My career as a handbag designer brought me all over the world and while I loved it, something was nudging me to turn my attention elsewhere. I was deep in brainstorming that day. The questions I asked myself were – what is my mission and how can I help others? What are two things that I think could change people’s lives? The answers were sensuality and nourishment. It was right then that the Sensual Chef was born.

I started my business in the culinary, health, and wellness world because I saw a need for this kind of work. I noticed that there weren’t many businesses that taught holistic healing, self-reliance, and culinary skills all in one. My business came to fruition due to my own past experiences where I focused on root-cause healing, sensuality, and slowing down.
